The exhibition! 27 August - 03 September 2016
One day I was thinking of our family - dispersed in more ways than one, and yet a whole - I longed for us to express the thin threads that hold us together in an exhibition that would make you think of shared identities, and individuation. What shapes us as individuals and what makes us a part of a group, any group? Connecting our self expression in one shared space, I was wondering what will it do to us, and those who came to see us.

Throughout the week one of the paintings was auctioned and the proceeds are going to a refugee charity. Beyond our 'nuclear' family we are after all part of the larger human family - our brothers sisters, fathers, mothers, need our help.
So what next? We were pleased about all the encouraging feedback we have had throughout the week. People who came to see our art moved us with their engagement and curiosity and their own stories.
If you have missed the exhibition, why not contact Carola on [email protected] and ask for a private viewing.
We will be planning more exhibitions locally and also in Germany, and we will be thinking of other creative activities.
